- 22t Komatsu Excavator
The 22t Excavator has a variety of attachments over and above the standard buckets and ripper that comes with most Excavators. The Excavator also has been fitted with a Tree-Felling Head. This device can cut a tree with a base of 550mm in diameter and carry the tree in its entirety and place it safely ton the ground.
This is ideal for wind rows in plantations, difficult to remove tree's around houses, plantations, power lines etc.
It also has a tree sheer which can cut stumps down enabling the track mulching machines to grind the stump into mulch.
The other attachment is a mulching head. This is ideal for mulching on steep banks and whole tree removal.
